Composite materials made from carbon fibres: identifying potentially hazardous situations
Today AFSSET published the results of collective expertise on carbon composite risks to workers’ health related to the manufacturing and machining of carbon fibres and composite materials. This technology is becoming more widespread and is already used in the aerospace industry but also in the sports and recreation, civil engineering, automotive, shipbuilding, and wind turbine industries.
